July 23
We woke up at 4 in our beds on the overnight train. It was running late so we got to sleep for another hour. We all got off the train and walked through the bustling train station of Jaipur to our bus. We settled into the hotel and ate a hearty breakfast of pancakes with chocolate syrup. After that, we all went to the old pink city palace and Jantar Mantar, a garden with huge sun dials. Just before lunch we explored and went shopping. We ate lunch at Anokhi and then shopped for napkins, tablecloths, and clothes. Then we went for more shopping and night quilts while we waited for our movie to begin at one of the most famous and beautiful movie halls in India – Raj Mandir. Our Bollywood experience was super fun. Even though the movie was sad, it was still amazing. We returned to the hotel and went for a short swim. After that, we stayed in for dinner. It was a really long day and everyone was tired, so after dinner we all went to our rooms to relax and sleep.

We woke up at 8:00, for a breakfast of fruits, pancakes, and French toast at the hotel. From there, we took a bus to Anokhi, an Indian fabric and clothing store. Some of the group split up from here and went to a local Indian market. We bought spices, henna, clothes, and trinkets. Afterwards we embarked on our journey to Agra, by bus. We stopped at a restaurant for a quick lunch and we did some more shopping. After 6 hours, we finally arrived to Agra. We relaxed for a couple hours and then headed to Trident, a beautiful resort for our last dinner as a group. We ate a tasty buffet meal and then had a group meeting where we discussed our highlights from the trip.
