Today we woke up in the beautiful palace at 8:30 to have breakfast at 9:00. We ate pancakes, french fries, and all sorts of other delicious treats. Then at around 10:30, we headed to the golden fort of Jaisalmer. We walked around, toured the palace, and did lots of shopping. After our adventure at the fort we hopped in some rickshaws to take us to lunch. Following lunch we had a short break to hang out and relax. Then at around 4:15 we took an hour bus journey to ride camels! We all got there pumped and ready for an experience. We rode the camels up the dunes and watched the sunset before we took the camels back. Even though we were sore from riding the camels, it was totally worth it. After the camels we spoke to traditional Rajasthani  musicians and then watched them perform. It was super cool to hear the difference in their music from western music! Immediately after we had some dinner then took the bus back to our palace hotel where we washed up and went to sleep which was the best way to end this super exciting day!

We started the day off with a relaxing morning. After a 9 am breakfast at the hotel, we had a quick meeting to discuss the day. We went back to our rooms to pack our bags and prepare for the upcoming train ride. After, many of us decided to leave the hotel and go shopping around the Jaisalmer Fort, while others decided to sleep in a bit more and just relax in the rooms. At around 12 pm, we checked out of the hotel and took a short bus ride to a nearby resort called The Desert Palace for lunch and more relaxation time. After a delicious meal we headed over to the pool to swim and tan. We hung out there until around 4 pm when we needed to go to the train station. After a quick ride to the train station, we easily found our seats and got on the train with no issues. Many of us went to sleep early to ensure we would wake up at 5 am to get off the next morning.
